The Ethiopia Strategy Support Program (ESSP) is a collaborative program undertaken by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the Ethiopian Development Research Institute (EDRI).
In June 2015, ESSP co-facilitated a conference to bring together the nutrition community engaged in combating malnutrition in Ethiopia. The Transform Nutrition consortium (funded by DfID) worked closely with IFPRI-ESSP to develop a relevant program to share knowledge on the nutritional needs facing Ethiopia today.
Berihu Assefa Gebrehiwot presented a session on Ethiopia’s export market at the Ethiopian Development Research Institute (EDRI) to 42 attendees.

Workshop held on 03 December 2015, Capital Hotel, Addis Ababa. ESSP hosted its first workshop on insurance in Addis Ababa, along with partners – ILRI and BASIS. The program appointed contributions from different aspects of insurance, citing examples across Ethiopia.
