On September 10, IFPRI launched the book Agricultural Extension: Global Status and Performance in Selected Countries, edited by Kristin Davis, Suresh Babu, and Catherine Ragasa. The book provides a global overview of agricultural extension and advisory services and assesses and compares extension systems at the national and regional level. It also examines the performance of extension approaches in a selected set of country cases, and shares lessons and policy insights. Covered countries include Brazil, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, and Uganda. Read the blog article.
On October 28, 2020 a webinar was co-organized by IFPRI Ethiopia and IFPRI Malawi to present perspectives and insights based on new data from Ethiopia, Malawi, and Uganda.
