The Ethiopia Strategy Support Program (ESSP) of IFPRI and the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) organized a training on Statistics and Data (STATA) with applications to the Dairy sector from October 29-30, 2018 for researchers of EIAR. The training, which was attended by twenty three people over the course of two days was intended to teach participants how to obtain and manipulate data as well as explore, visualize, model and make inferences. The training also introduced the participants to the art of collecting results into reproducible reports. The course took the participants in an active process of learning the basics of STATA. The aim of the training is for the participants to gradually learn how to use the software and apply it in their work. You can find the quick reference manual here.
