ESSP/IFPRI delivered a two-weeks training course on CGE (Computable General Equilibrium) modeling with application on the future of Ethiopian agriculture in collaboration with Addis Ababa University (AAU) from April 16 till April 27, 2018. A total of 34 Master Level students participated in the training. The purpose of this training was to teach static and dynamic CGE modelling and to build capacity to undertake research on different topics that require analyses on the whole economy. The technical training provided the skills to use GAMs software, to understand the CGE modelling approach, and to interpret results.
