Feed the Future (FtF) is a major U.S. government program that aims to address the root causes of global hunger; sustainably increase agricultural productivity to meet the demand for food; support and facilitate access to markets; and increase incomes for the rural poor so that they can meet their food and other needs, including reducing malnutrition. Ethiopia has been designated a priority country for the FtF initiative.
By conducting the baseline survey between June and July 2013 in 83 woredas (districts) prior to the program’s implementation, researchers will now be able to measure and establish the program’s impact and, consequently, evaluate its investment.
