The surge in food price continues to be a concern for both policy makers and the public at large. In relation to this, the Ethiopian Development Research Institute (EDRI), in collaboration with the Association for Strenghtening Agriculutral Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA), Ethiopia Strategy Support Program II (ESSPII) and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) held a half-day national workshop on “Food Price Dynamics and Policy Implications in Ethiopia” on 24 May 2012 at the Ghion Hotel.
